Vittoria Ceretti turned heads over the weekend while attending Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s final wedding celebration in Venice — but not for the reasons she may have intended. The 27-year-old Italian supermodel, who arrived hand-in-hand with boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio, suffered a wardrobe malfunction in a now-iconic vintage gown once worn by Gisele Bündchen.
On Saturday, June 28, Ceretti wore a shimmering silver Dolce & Gabbana dress to the couple’s pajama-themed party, held at the Gritti Palace Hotel. The gown, first worn by Bündchen at the 2003 Met Gala, appeared to have been slightly altered but still retained its signature sparkle — albeit with a bit of wear.
Unfortunately, the evening took an unexpected turn. On Sunday, June 29, Ceretti posted two photos to her Instagram Stories showing the deterioration of the dress. The first image revealed a small tear with the caption “how it started,” while the second showed a much larger rip, exposing most of her leg, alongside the words “how it’s going.”
Despite the mishap, Ceretti looked elegant while departing the venue — a true professional under pressure. The moment added a playful twist to what has otherwise been a series of stunning fashion moments throughout the wedding festivities.
The choice of dress also raised eyebrows given its connection to DiCaprio’s ex, Gisele Bündchen, whom the actor dated from 2000 to 2005. In a 2009 interview, Bündchen reflected on their relationship, calling DiCaprio a “wonderful person,” but noting they ultimately weren’t meant to be together.
Ceretti and DiCaprio have been linked since 2023, with sightings in Santa Barbara confirming the relationship. In April 2024, a source told PEOPLE, “She is very cute, sweet, and charming. Leo seems to really like her.”
A rising force in the fashion industry, Ceretti has modeled for Gucci, Prada, and Bulgari, and graced multiple international magazine covers. In her April 2025 Vogue France cover story, she opened up about dating in the spotlight:
“If what you’re experiencing is real, if you know you love each other, then there’s no reason to be alarmed. Because love protects and gives confidence.”
