Lindsey Vonn’s red carpet appearance at the 2025 ESPYS nearly took a turn — but her sister, Karin Kildow, came to the rescue just in time.
The Olympic skier, who attended the July 16 ceremony at L.A.’s Dolby Theater, faced a sudden wardrobe malfunction while wearing a maroon strapless Elisabetta Franchi gown. The daring design featured a high slit that revealed her left leg and subtly concealed her strappy underwear — until a gust of wind threatened to reveal more than intended.
As the dress flared open unexpectedly, Karin quickly stepped in to help Lindsey regain control of the situation, preventing a full-on fashion slip.
Despite the hiccup, Lindsey—nominated for Best Comeback and presenter of the Best Play award to Saquon Barkley—kept her composure and carried on with confidence.
She later took to Instagram on July 17 to share images of both the maroon dress and a second gown worn that evening, writing, “Strong and feminine… Doesn’t have to be one or the other. We can be both. Just be you.”
