Janet Caperna isn’t letting the online drama get to her.
Amid speculation that The Valley star fled the country following backlash on social media, her castmate Jesse Lally set the record straight during the July 8 episode of The Julia Cunningham Show on SiriusXM.
“I love the whole ‘she fled’ narrative,” Jesse said with a laugh. “But I’ll clear it up—one of my best friends lives in Zurich, and they were talking about summer travel plans to Switzerland or maybe Lake Como. I even gave them recommendations. It was a planned vacation. Totally needed.”
Jesse added that Janet, her husband Jason Caperna, and their 18-month-old son Cameron deserved the break—whether it was to escape the buzz or just enjoy some downtime.
“Honestly, Switzerland would be a great place to flee to,” he joked. “I’d do it myself if I could.”
