The “About Damn Time” singer recently opened up about her nearly two-year-long “intentional weight release journey,” sharing stunning before-and-after photos from her first and most recent lymphatic massage. She credited consistent self-care practices as a major part of her physical transformation—alongside fitness and healthy eating.
In a July 3 post, Lizzo addressed the ongoing speculation about her using weight-loss drugs like Ozempic, setting the record straight with a detailed caption:
“I work my ass off—training three times a week, daily cardio and sauna sessions, reintroducing animal protein into my meals, and working with a chef who helps me stick to a calorie deficit. I’ve cut out sugary Starbucks drinks, full-fat sodas, and potato chips.”
Part of her process also includes letting others take the reins. Lizzo shared that she incorporates wood therapy—a technique that uses wooden tools to massage and sculpt the body—and lymphatic drainage massages, which help remove excess fluid and toxins, as part of her routine to help tone and define her figure.
