Fans of And Just Like That… have spotted another puzzling inconsistency in the show’s storyline.
In the July 3 episode of the Sex and the City spinoff, Nicole Ari Parker’s character, Lisa Todd Wexley, shares the sudden news of her father’s passing, saying, “My father died this afternoon. He had a stroke out of nowhere,” before delivering a eulogy at his funeral.
But viewers were quick to point out a glaring issue: Lisa had already mentioned in season one that her father had died.
Back in a season one episode, Lisa sympathized with Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) after the death of her husband Mr. Big, saying, “I was the exact same way when I lost my dad last year. I could see my rings literally shaking on my hands while I was trying to be so strong.”
This apparent contradiction has left fans scratching their heads—and calling out the writers for seemingly giving Lisa’s father two separate deaths.
